ITOS Mission History
ITOS is based on and shares a common code base with the Integrated Test & Operations System (ITOS), originally developed at NASA/GSFC for the Small Explorers project beginning in 1990, and continuously updated, expanded, and improved since inception. This is the ITOS / ITOS mission history:
- NASA/USGS Landsat 8 mission (originally called the Landsat Data Continuity Mission)
- NASA's LRO, Fermi (GLAST), THEMIS/ARTEMIS, Swift, ICESAT-2, LADEE, CYGNSS, and ICON missions
- NASA's Small Explorers: SAMPEX, FAST, SWAS, TRACE, WIRE, RHESSI, NuSTAR, and IRIS
- Canadian Space Agency's SCISAT-1, Cassiope, and NEOSSat missions; and the RADARSAT Constellation Mission
- Defense R&D Canada's M3MSat
- NASA/NOAA DSCOVR mission
- NASA GSFC's multi-mission operations center, with the WIND and ACE missions
- NRL's SECCHI instrument for the STEREO mission and SoloHI instrument for the ESA Solar Orbiter mission.
- NASA's Ultra-Long-Duration Balloon project
- NASA's LWS SET project
